Customer Advisors Required - Winter Recruitment Campaign

We are delighted to be supporting our client with their upcoming winter recruitment campaign and are currently seeking Customer Advisors to join a busy and professional customer contact team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation, with full training provided and the potential for the role to become permanent for successful candidates.

Start Dates

To support operational requirements, recruitment will start on

  • Group 2: Monday 5th October

Training Programme

All successful candidates will complete a comprehensive 4-week training programme at our client's training centre in Denby before moving to the main site in Belper.

Training Hours

  • Monday to Wednesday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
  • Thursday & Friday: 9:00am - 4:45pm

Full attendance throughout the training period is essential to ensure you have the knowledge and support needed to succeed in the role.

Working Hours & Shift Pattern

Following the successful completion of training, Customer Advisors will move onto a 6-week rota pattern.

  • Working hours will fall between 8:00am and 6:00pm on a rotational shift basis.
  • Employees are paid for 39.5 hours per week.
  • You may be allocated to any week within the 6-week rota cycle, depending on business requirements and team coverage. Allocations are made based on operational needs and where gaps exist within the rota.

The rota also includes:

  • 2 in every 6 Saturdays working 8:00am - 3:00pm
  • 1 in every 6 Sundays working 8:00am - 12:00pm

Flexibility is essential, as working patterns will vary in line with the rota schedule.

The Role

As a Customer Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, providing a professional and friendly service while resolving enquiries efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling inbound customer enquiries via telephone
  • Providing accurate information and support
  • Resolving customer queries and issues
  • Updating customer records accurately
  • Working within service level agreements and team objectives
  • Delivering an excellent customer experience on every interaction
  • Escalating more complex issues where appropriate

What We're Looking For

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enjoy helping customers and finding solutions
  • Are confident using multiple computer systems
  • Can remain professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Have previous experience within customer service, retail, hospitality, administration or contact centres (desirable but not essential)
