Contract Manager - Soft Facilities Management

💰 £42,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Electric Vehicle
🕒 Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm

Are you an experienced Contract Manager with a background in Facilities Management, Cleaning or Grounds Maintenance? Do you enjoy managing multiple sites, leading teams, and building strong client relationships?

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading national facilities management provider for an experienced Contract Manager to oversee a portfolio of sites across Brighton, Crawley, Chichester and Horsham.

The Role

As Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a range of soft FM services including cleaning, grounds maintenance and bulk waste collection. You will ensure service excellence, maintain strong client relationships and drive operational performance across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing multiple soft FM contracts across a regional portfolio
• Leading, motivating and developing operational teams
• Ensuring contractual KPIs and service standards are consistently achieved
• Managing budgets, costs and overall contract performance
• Conducting regular audits, inspections and site visits
• Ensuring health & safety compliance and risk management
• Building strong relationships with clients, residents and key stakeholders
• Investigating and resolving service issues efficiently
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and service enhancement
• Producing reports and performance updates for senior management

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a Contract Manager, Area Manager or Operations Manager role within Facilities Management
• Strong background managing cleaning and grounds maintenance services
• Experience overseeing contracts valued at £1 million+
• Proven leadership and people management skills
• Experience managing budgets and P&L responsibility
• Multi-site operational management experience
• Good understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
