We are currently recruiting for an experienced Composite Fitter to join a well-established manufacturing business based in the Raynesway area of Derby. This is an ongoing temporary opportunity offering regular daytime hours and an immediate start for the right candidate.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Fitting and assembling composite components to engineering specifications.
- Trimming, drilling, bonding and finishing composite parts.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Carrying out quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards.
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Working within a fast-paced production environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Composite Fitter, Composite Technician or similar manufacturing role.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience using hand tools and assembly equipment.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am - 2:00pm
- No weekends
