Part-Time Cleaner

Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm - 5:00pm

Role Overview

We are recruiting a Part-Time Cleaner to support the day-to-day cleanliness and presentation of a busy wholesale and warehouse environment in Grantham.

This role requires an individual who can work independently, follow cleaning schedules and maintain high standards of cleanliness across warehouse, office and communal areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring workspaces remain clean, safe and well-maintained while adhering to site health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean warehouse, office and communal areas to agreed standards.
• Sweep, mop, dust and sanitise designated areas.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies where required.
• Ensure floors, surfaces and shared facilities are kept clean and presentable.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks within allocated timeframes.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards or supply shortages when identified.
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
• Adhere to company health and safety procedures at all times.

Essential Skills and Experience

Applicants should demonstrate experience in most or all of the following areas:

Cleaning & Facilities Support

• Previous cleaning experience within a commercial, industrial, warehouse, office or retail environment.
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Experience using cleaning equipment and products safely.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements within the workplace.

Time Management & Organisation

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to complete tasks within designated timescales.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Personal Attributes

• Trustworthy and dependable.
