Are you reliable, hardworking, and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness? We are looking for dedicated Cleaners to join our team at a busy hospital site in Oxford.
Requirements
✅ DBS Check Required
✅ Valid ID and Right to Work Documentation Required
✅ Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Role Purpose
To ensure all areas within the hospital site are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, providing a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all assigned cleaning duties using the guidance, training, and checklists provided.
- Ensure all necessary equipment is collected before starting work.
- Collect, segregate, and dispose of waste materials, replacing liners in accordance with site policies.
- Undertake manual and mechanical cleaning activities in line with cleaning schedules.
- Follow cleaning methods appropriate to designated areas.
- Complete and check cleaning schedules daily.
- Refill consumables including soap dispensers, hand towels, toilet rolls, and paper products.
- Provide emergency and ad hoc cleaning support when required.
- Ensure all cleaning is carried out safely and to the required standards.
- Use all work equipment and PPE correctly, reporting defects, accidents, or safety concerns to management.
- Check equipment for faults and notify the relevant person.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use.
- Store all equipment in the appropriate storage area at the end of each shift.
- Remove marks, stains, and dirt from walls and other surfaces.
- Report maintenance issues to the relevant department or management team.
- Attend training courses as required.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by Supervisors or Management.
