Cleaning Operative / Retail Cleaner - ASDA
Blue Arrow is recruiting on behalf of our client, Bidvest Noonan, for a Cleaning Operative / Retail Cleaner to join the cleaning team at ASDA with an immediate start available.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a cleaning role, offering regular hours, job security, and full training for candidates who are new to the industry. There is also a temp-to-perm opportunity after 12 weeks for those seeking a permanent position.
Shift Pattern (Fixed)
- Monday: 10:00-15:00
- Sunday: 10:00-15:00
Pay Rate
£13.10 per hour
Key Responsibilities
As a Cleaning Operative, your duties will include:
- Cleaning retail, customer, and colleague areas to a high standard
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
- Cleaning washroom and welfare facilities
- Emptying and relining waste bins
- Carrying out floor care tasks, including buffing and polishing where required
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the store
- Completing routine inspections and reporting any issues
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Good understanding of spoken and written English
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude with a strong focus on customer service
