Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver
Location: Reading
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: 06:30 - 15:30 (1-hour unpaid break), Monday to Friday
Overtime: Paid in addition to the standard 40-hour working week
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver to join a busy and well-established distribution company based in Reading.
This role is ideal for a reliable, professional driver who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing multi-drop deliveries to customers across the region
- Working to scheduled delivery times and routes
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point
- Maintaining a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers and the general public
- Assisting with additional operational duties as required
Essential Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
- Minimum of 2 years' Class 2 driving experience
- Valid and up-to-date Driver CPC qualification
- Active Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
- Ability to work to strict delivery schedules
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexible and proactive approach to work
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Positive attitude and team player mentality
