Class 2 HGV Driver

We are recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for ongoing tramping work delivering high-end kitchen products across the UK. Working alongside a Driver's Mate, this role involves supporting with locating delivery addresses, unloading products and providing excellent customer service. Tramping is required with either Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday working patterns available. Immediate starts are available, and newly qualified Class 2 Drivers are encouraged to apply.
Role Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional logistics operation specialising in the delivery of premium kitchen products. You will work as part of a two-person crew, ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Shift Patterns
- Tramping role
- Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday
- Overnight stays required throughout the week
- £25.00 tax-free night out allowance paid for each night away
Pay and Benefits
- £16.20 per hour PAYE
- Holiday pay accrued separately

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-end kitchen products to residential and commercial locations
- Work closely with a Driver's Mate to complete deliveries
- Assist with locating delivery addresses and planning routes
- Support unloading and positioning products at delivery points
- Complete all vehicle checks and paperwork accurately
- Maintain high levels of customer service at all times
- Ensure compliance with all driving regulations and company procedures
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Positive, professional attitude
- Ability to work away from home during the working week
