Class 2 Driver

Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour standard rate | £20.50 per hour for all hours worked before 06:00

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join a leading distribution operation based in Severn Beach, delivering to retail stores across the region.

The Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for completing store deliveries across a designated route, ensuring goods are delivered safely, accurately, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-drop store deliveries, typically between 1 and 6 drops per shift
- Delivering goods using dollies, cages, and palletised loads
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring full compliance with transport regulations
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
- Ensuring all loads are transported and delivered safely and efficiently
Shift Patterns
- Start times between 01:30 and 06:00
- £20.50 per hour for all hours worked before 06:00
- £16.00 per hour standard rate
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- Saturday overtime available for drivers looking to increase their earnings
- Tuesday to Saturday working pattern may also be available
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred
- Good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role, including moving cages, dollies, and pallets
