We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing tramping work in the YO17 area, completing UK-wide general haulage deliveries to depots and customer sites. This is an excellent opportunity for C+E Drivers seeking regular Monday to Friday work, modern vehicles and competitive rates of pay, with ongoing assignments available.
Role Overview
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing nationwide general haulage deliveries using planned routes and schedules. Working with a professional transport operation, you'll benefit from reliable workloads, a modern fleet and consistent Monday to Friday shifts.
Shift Patterns
- Monday to Friday
- 06:00 start times
- Approximately 10-hour shifts
- Day tramping required
- Ongoing work available

Responsibilities
- Complete UK-wide general haulage deliveries
- Deliver to depots and customer locations nationwide
- Ensure safe and compliant operation of Class 1 vehicles
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks
- Complete all paperwork and digital records accurately
- Deliver a professional level of customer service
- Follow Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- 3 months' Class 1 experience preferred
- Less experience may be considered
- Reliable and professional attitude
