HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) Tramper

Location: Sherburn in Elmet, LS25 6NA

Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour + Holiday Pay

Night Out Allowance: £26.20 per night

Hours: Average 55 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday with 06:00 starts

Contract: Ongoing Agency Work or Temp-to-Perm

Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for 2 HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers to join a well-established general haulage operation based in Sherburn in Elmet (LS25).

This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a professional transport operation offering consistent Monday to Friday work, modern vehicles, and the potential for permanent employment.

The Role

As a Class 1 Tramper Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out nationwide deliveries of building materials using curtain-sided trailers. Routes are pre-planned, and customer sites will unload the vehicle upon arrival.

Duties include:

• Nationwide deliveries to customer and construction sites
• Operating curtain-sided trailers
• Securing loads using straps
• Completing all relevant vehicle and delivery paperwork
• Adhering to all transport legislation and company safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

• Full UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
• A professional, reliable and safety-focused attitude
