Blue Arrow is recruiting a Class 1 Onsite Shunter on behalf of XPO, supporting a busy and well-established logistics operation based in NG11.

If you're looking for a stable role with no multi-drop deliveries, a fixed work location and consistent hours, this could be the perfect opportunity.

Pay Rate

💷 £16.01 per hour

• PAYE
• Holiday Pay Accrual
• Weekly Pay

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 - 14:00
• 14:00 - 22:00
• Weekly rotating shifts

The Role

As an Onsite Shunter, you'll play a key role in keeping the operation running smoothly by:

• Safely moving trailers around the yard
• Positioning trailers for loading and dispatch
• Supporting warehouse and transport teams
• Managing trailer movements efficiently across site
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Previous shunting or yard experience beneficial but not essential
• Good awareness of site safety procedures
• Reliable and professional approach

Please note: A Driver CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card are not required for this onsite role.
