Class 1 HGV Driver Jobs | Coventry (CV6) & Rugeley Area (B65) | £17.00 Per Hour PAYE

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for a leading commercial vehicle hire company with opportunities available in the Coventry (CV6) and Rugeley area (B65).

This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers seeking long-term, ongoing HGV work, with pre-booked assignments available through to the end of 2026.

Class 1 Driver Job Overview

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the delivery and collection of:

• HGV vehicles
• Commercial vehicles
• Trailers

The role involves travelling throughout the Midlands, providing a professional service to customers while ensuring all vehicles and equipment are transported safely and efficiently.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 07:00 - 17:00
• No weekend working required

Pay Rate

• £17.00 per hour PAYE
• Holiday pay accrued
• Weekly pay

Requirements

To be considered for this Class 1 HGV Driver role, applicants must have:

• A valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Minimum 12 months HGV driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good customer service and communication skills
