We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for nationwide timber delivery work based from a busy operation in ST1. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced C+E Drivers seeking day, night or tramping work, with immediate assessments available, competitive rates of pay and ongoing long-term opportunities.
Role Overview
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing nationwide timber deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance and customer service. Working with a modern fleet and supportive transport team, you'll benefit from reliable scheduling and secure ongoing work.

Responsibilities
- Complete nationwide timber deliveries safely and efficiently
- Ensure loads are secured correctly before transit
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Comply with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
- Complete all transport documentation accurately
- Maintain high standards of health and safety
- Deliver professional customer service at delivery locations
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Minimum 3 months' Class 1 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong understanding of load security
- Commitment to health and safety standards
- Reliable and professional approach
