Class 1 Driver / Shunter
We are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver / Shunter to join a busy and fast-paced operation. This is an ongoing opportunity offering regular work and a competitive pay rate.
Previous shunting experience is preferred; however, full onsite training will be provided for the right candidate.
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- 14:00 - 02:00
Pay Rate
- £19.50 per hour
Duties Will Include:
- Shunting trailers and rigid vehicles around the yard
- Positioning vehicles on loading and tipping bays for loading and tipping operations
- Liaising with the Warehouse and Transport Office to ensure smooth operations
- Adhering to all onsite key control procedures
- Following site health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy yard environment
- Previous shunting experience is advantageous but not essential
