We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (Category C) HGV Drivers to join our client's growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated driver looking for ongoing work with a reputable company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods, ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with all transport regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections as scheduled.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time.
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork and electronic records.
- Comply with Driver Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive requirements.
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner when dealing with customers.
- Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely.
- Adhere to all company health and safety policies.
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 or Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good knowledge of UK road transport regulations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous Class 1 or Class 2 driving experience is essential.
