Class 1 Onsite Shunter Required
Blue Arrow, in partnership with XPO, is recruiting a Class 1 Onsite Shunter for a leading logistics operation based in NG11.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional transport team, working onsite and playing a key role in supporting warehouse and transport operations.

Rotating Shifts
- Monday to Friday
- 06:00 - 14:00
- 14:00 - 22:00
- Weekly rotating pattern
Pay Rate
- £16.01 per hour
- PAYE
- Holiday accrual
The Role
- Moving trailers safely around the site
- Parking and positioning trailers within designated areas
- Supporting the day-to-day transport operation
- Working closely with transport and warehouse teams
- Ensuring trailers are available for loading and dispatch
- Maintaining a strong focus on health and safety at all times
- Contributing to the smooth running of a busy logistics operation
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Previous shunting or yard experience is advantageous but not essential
- Good awareness of site safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Please note: A Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card are not required for this onsite shunting role.
