Class 1 Onsite Shunter Required
Blue Arrow, in partnership with XPO, is recruiting Class 1 Onsite Shunters for a busy logistics operation based in YO17 8PQ.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional transport team, working within a fast-paced distribution environment responsible for high-volume trailer movements across a busy site.

Available Shifts
Night Shifts
- Monday to Friday
- 18:00 - 06:00
- 12-hour shifts
- Ongoing, regular work available
Pay Rate
- £16.75 per hour
- PAYE
- Holiday accrual
The Role
- Moving trailers safely around a busy distribution site
- High-volume trailer movements throughout the shift
- Parking and positioning trailers within designated areas
- Supporting transport and warehouse operations
- Ensuring trailers are available for loading and dispatch
- Working closely with transport and warehouse teams
- Maintaining a strong focus on health and safety standards at all times
- Contributing to the smooth running of a fast-paced logistics operation
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Previous onsite shunting experience preferred
- Terberg experience advantageous
- Good awareness of health and safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively within a busy operational environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
