Class 1 Onsite Shunter Required

Blue Arrow, in partnership with XPO, is recruiting Class 1 Onsite Shunters for a busy logistics operation based in Beeston, Nottingham.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional transport team, working within a fast-paced distribution environment responsible for high-volume trailer movements across a busy site.

  • Night Shifts
  • Weekend Shifts Available
  • 10-hour shifts

Pay Rates

  • £15.40 - £20.40 per hour
  • PAYE
  • Holiday accrual

The Role

  • Moving trailers safely around a busy distribution site
  • High-volume trailer movements throughout the shift
  • Parking and positioning trailers within designated areas
  • Supporting transport and warehouse operations
  • Ensuring trailers are available for loading and dispatch
  • Working closely with transport and warehouse teams
  • Maintaining a strong focus on health and safety standards at all times
  • Contributing to the smooth running of a fast-paced logistics operation

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • Previous onsite shunting experience preferred
  • Terberg experience advantageous
  • Good awareness of health and safety procedures
  • Ability to work effectively within a busy operational environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
