Chef Opportunities - Flexible Shifts Available
Location: Nottingham (NG2, NG11, NG12 and surrounding areas)
Hours: Monday to Friday, typically 8am to 4pm (depending on site)
Pay: £16.00 - £20.00 per hour, depending on experience
Are you an experienced chef looking for flexible work?
We are currently recruiting chefs to work across a range of sites in Nottingham and the surrounding areas. Whether you're looking to pick up extra shifts around existing commitments, between permanent roles, or are available for ongoing full-time temporary work, we have opportunities available.
Assignments vary from day-to-day cover through to longer-term placements, giving you the flexibility to work where and when it suits you.
An Enhanced DBS is preferred, although we can support suitable candidates in obtaining one.
Duties will include:
- Preparing and cooking fresh meals to a high standard
- Managing your own section within the kitchen
- Ensuring stock is stored and rotated correctly
- Receiving and checking deliveries
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
- Working effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Supporting the wider team as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a chef
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (issued within the last 3 years)
- Enhanced DBS certificate, or willingness to obtain one
- Own chef whites and knives
- Ability to travel to sites across Nottingham and surrounding areas
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A flexible and reliable approach to work
