Chef Manager - Flexible Agency Work

Blue Arrow is recruiting experienced and motivated Chef Managers to work across a range of catering environments, including care homes, schools, nurseries, contract catering sites, and hospitality venues throughout Oxford, Witney, Abingdon, and surrounding areas.
Whether you're looking for regular shifts, extra income, or greater flexibility around your working week, we have a variety of opportunities available for immediate starts.

Your Responsibilities
As a Chef Manager, you will:
- Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious, and high-quality meals
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, food safety, and health & safety standards
- Manage stock levels, ordering, rotation, and efficient kitchen organisation
- Lead, motivate, and support kitchen teams within busy catering environments
- Ensure consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service
- Oversee the efficient day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Support menu planning and ensure meals meet the requirements of each catering setting
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef Manager or senior-level chef within a professional catering environment
- Experience as a Sous Chef, Head Chef, Chef Manager, or similar senior kitchen role
- Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but not essential
- A current DBS certificate would be beneficial for certain assignments, although this is not mandatory
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable working independently
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and support a team
- Access to your own transport would be advantageous due to the variety of client locations
