Are you an experienced Chef Manager, Head Chef, or Kitchen Manager looking for a role that offers an excellent work-life balance?

We are recruiting for a Chef Manager to oversee a thriving education catering operation in Bath, serving approximately 460 meals daily, alongside a delivered catering service to two nearby schools.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, deliver nutritious and high-quality meals, and make a real difference within a school community.

The Role

🍽️ Oversee the preparation and service of approximately 460 meals per day

🚚 Manage a delivered catering service to two local schools

👨‍🍳 Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen team

📦 Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships

💰 Monitor budgets, food costs, and kitchen performance

✅ Ensure full compliance with food safety, HACCP, and health & safety procedures

📋 Complete kitchen administration and record-keeping

🌟 Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service

What We're Looking For

✔ Previous experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Senior Sous Chef

✔ Strong leadership and people management skills

✔ Experience in education, contract catering, or high-volume catering environments

✔ Good financial awareness and stock control experience

✔ Passion for delivering healthy, nutritious meals

✔ Excellent organisation and communication skills
