We are recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Chef Manager to lead the catering operation at a welcoming education site in Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity for a chef looking to step into management or an existing Chef Manager seeking a term-time position that offers evenings, weekends, and school holidays off.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day operation of the school kitchen
• Preparing and serving fresh, nutritious meals
• Catering for approximately 100 covers each day
• Leading and supporting a team of 2 General Assistants
• Managing stock control, ordering, and budgets
• Ensuring food hygiene, health & safety, and compliance standards are maintained
• Building positive relationships with staff, pupils, and clients
• Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation

What We're Looking For

✅ Previous experience in a Chef Manager, Head Chef, or Senior Catering role
✅ Strong leadership and organisational skills
✅ Knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance standards
✅ Ability to manage a small team effectively
✅ Passion for delivering high-quality food and service

Working Hours

🕗 Monday to Friday
8:30am - 2:00pm
