Location: Ashby-de-la-Zouch and surrounding areas
Pay Rate: £16.00 - £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
We are currently recruiting experienced chefs to work across a variety of catering environments in Ashby-de-la-Zouch and the surrounding areas, including schools, care settings, business and industry sites, and other commercial kitchens.

What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and cooking fresh meals to a high standard
- Supporting the day-to-day running of busy kitchens
- Receiving and storing deliveries correctly
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards
- Ensuring kitchen areas remain clean, organised, and compliant
- Working effectively with kitchen teams during service
- Managing ingredients and stock appropriately
- Delivering quality food in a fast-paced environment
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working as a chef in a professional kitchen
- Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (within the last 3 years preferred)
- Good knowledge of food safety and allergen procedures
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- A reliable and flexible approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Own chef whites and knives preferred
- Access to transport is beneficial due to the variety of locations

DBS Information
Some assignments, particularly within schools and care settings, may require an Enhanced DBS certificate. If you do not currently hold the appropriate DBS, we can discuss the options available during the registration process.
