We're recruiting talented and passionate chefs to work across a wide range of prestigious contract catering venues throughout Newcastle, Gateshead, Durham, Sunderland, Middlesbrough and surrounding areas.
Whether you're an experienced Chef de Partie, Sous Chef or Head Chef, we have ongoing ad hoc shifts available with leading contract catering clients including corporate sites, business parks, education settings, healthcare facilities, event venues and more.
Rates of Pay
Chef de Partie (CDP) - £17.14 per hour
Sous Chef - £19.19 per hour
Head Chef - £22.71 per hour

Chef de Partie - £17.14ph
As a Chef de Partie, you'll support the kitchen team in delivering high-quality food services while maintaining exceptional standards.
Duties:
- Preparing and cooking food to specification
- Running your designated section confidently
- Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met
- Supporting senior chefs during busy service periods
- Assisting with stock rotation and kitchen organisation
Sous Chef - £19.19ph
A fantastic opportunity for experienced Sous Chefs looking for varied and rewarding assignments.
Duties:
- Supporting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
- Leading and motivating kitchen teams
- Maintaining food quality and presentation standards
- Assisting with menu planning and food ordering
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
Head Chef - £22.71ph
Take charge of the kitchen and showcase your leadership skills across a range of exciting contract catering environments.
Duties:
- Managing all aspects of kitchen operations
- Leading and developing kitchen teams
- Delivering exceptional food quality and service standards
- Managing stock control, ordering and budgets
- Ensuring HACCP and health & safety compliance
- Driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
Who We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen
- Contract catering experience desirable but not essential
- Food Safety Level 2 (minimum)
- Reliable, professional and adaptable approach
- Passion for delivering exceptional food and service
