Want catering work that fits around your schedule? Blue Arrow is recruiting Catering Assistants to support a variety of clients across Rugeley and the surrounding areas. Whether you're looking for a few extra shifts each week or something more regular, we'd love to hear from you.
Pay: £12.71 - £13.00 per hour
Contract: Temporary, ongoing and flexible assignments

Where could you be working?
Assignments are available across a variety of locations, including:
- Care and nursing homes
- Schools and colleges
- Nurseries
- Staff canteens and industrial sites
- Hotels, leisure facilities and visitor attractions
- Event venues and contract catering operations
Day-to-day duties
Your responsibilities may include:
- Helping with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks
- Serving meals, snacks and drinks
- Keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and tidy
- Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen equipment
- Assisting chefs during busy service periods
- Restocking ingredients and supplies
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
What we're looking for
We're keen to hear from people who:
- Have previous catering, hospitality, retail or customer service experience
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Have a positive attitude and are happy to get stuck in
- Are reliable and punctual
- Can stay calm and organised in busy environments
A Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial but not essential.
DBS Information
Some assignments, particularly within schools, nurseries and care settings, require an Enhanced DBS check.
If you already hold a DBS registered on the Update Service, that's great. If not, Blue Arrow can assist with the application process, although fees may apply.
