Are you friendly, reliable, and passionate about food service? We are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join a busy catering team, helping to prepare and serve fresh, nutritious meals in a welcoming environment.
About the Role
As a Catering Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of a professional catering service. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will help prepare food, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and ensure an excellent dining experience for customers.
Working Hours
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00am to 3:00pm
- 30-minute unpaid break
- 35 weeks per year (term-time pattern plus one additional week)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of food and beverages, including basic food preparation tasks.
- Set up and clear dining areas, tables, chairs, and equipment.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout kitchen and dining areas.
- Wash dishes, cutlery, containers, and catering equipment.
- Adhere to Food Hygiene, Health & Safety, and safeguarding requirements.
- Support the catering team during busy service periods.
- Help deliver catering services for meetings, events, and special occasions.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and provide excellent customer service.

- Food Safety Level 2 qualification.
