Catering Assistant
Blue Arrow is proud to be working in partnership with reputable schools and care homes in the Ripley area. We are currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistants to support busy kitchen teams on a part-time, ongoing basis.
Due to the nature of these settings, an Enhanced DBS check for both Children and Adults is required. If you do not currently hold a valid DBS, we can assist the successful candidate with obtaining one (subject to cost).

Monday to Sunday, with a variety of shifts available
Key Responsibilities
As a Catering Assistant, your duties will include:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment in line with health and safety regulations
- Serving food to children, residents, staff, and visitors
- Handling meal payments and supporting with free school meal procedures where required
- Cleaning dining and canteen areas between sittings
- Supporting the wider kitchen team with day-to-day operations

Requirements
- Enhanced DBS for Children and Adults (or willingness to obtain one)
- Ability to commit to ongoing part-time work
- Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential
