Are you a reliable and hardworking Catering Assistant looking for flexible work opportunities? Blue Arrow is currently recruiting Catering Assistants for a variety of food service environments across Melton Mowbray and surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy team with immediate starts available and a range of shift patterns to suit different lifestyles, including day, evening and night shifts.
The Role
As a Catering Assistant, you will support kitchen and catering teams with the smooth running of food service operations.
Duties may include:
- Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
- Serving customers in dining areas
- Washing up and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Clearing tables and replenishing stock
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Supporting chefs and kitchen staff as required
Requirements
- Previous catering, hospitality or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Reliability and punctuality are essential
- Safety shoes are required
- Own transport may be advantageous for some locations and shift times
