What You'll Be Doing

As a Call Handler, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients by:

βœ… Making outbound calls to patients awaiting appointments (these are warm calls only - no cold calling involved)

βœ… Booking patients into appointments and ensuring a smooth customer journey

βœ… Handling customer queries via telephone, digital channels, and administrative tasks

βœ… Providing a professional, friendly, and empathetic service at all times

βœ… Taking ownership of customer enquiries and resolving issues efficiently

βœ… Accurately updating and maintaining customer records and data

βœ… Working closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional service standards


What We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals who are:

  • Customer-focused and passionate about helping others
  • Confident communicators with an excellent telephone manner
  • Empathetic, patient, and professional
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Comfortable using multiple computer systems
  • Positive, reliable, and a strong team player
  • Adaptable and eager to learn new skills

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer literacy and keyboard skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
  • Strong listening and problem-solving skills
  • Basic Maths and English skills

Desirable:

  • Previous customer service experience, either over the phone or face-to-face
  • Experience within a contact centre, bookings, administration, or healthcare environment

No formal qualifications are required.
