We are currently recruiting an Executive Officer 2 for our client based in Ballymena. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.

Start date: ASAP

Rate of pay: £15.83

Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm 37 hours

Duration: 6 Months with a possibility of extension

"The main duties and responsibilities are:

- Provide day-to-day support to public authorities on Rural Needs compliance, including responding to queries, offering guidance, supporting awareness activities, monitoring implementation, and escalating issues when required.

- Support rural policy and legislative development by assisting with Rural Needs Act reviews, gathering and analysing evidence, identifying policy options, and helping implement policy changes.

- Build and maintain effective relationships with Rural Needs Coordinators, public authorities, stakeholders, and colleagues, supporting engagement activities and information sharing.

- Assist with the administration and improvement of Rural Needs digital systems, data quality checks, annual reporting, mailbox management, tracking systems, and business support functions.

- Prepare draft briefings, submissions, and responses for Ministerial, Executive, and Assembly business, while providing general team support, workload coordination, and line management duties where required."

Essential Criteria applicants must have:

  • 5 GCSE's Maths and English (Proof of certs required)
  • 2 A-levels pass or above
  • 12-18 months administrative/office experience

Good organisational and planning skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Have good knowledge of using software packages e.g., Microsoft office"
