Bird Line Operative
The role involves assisting with the day-to-day production process, from receiving and handling stock through to processing, quality control, packing, and preparing completed goods for dispatch. You will play a key part in ensuring products meet required standards while working safely and efficiently. Full PPE will be provided.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment would be advantageous but is not required.
- Confident completing manual handling duties.
- Strong attention to detail with basic numeracy skills.
- Able to follow set processes and complete records accurately.
Responsibilities
- Checking incoming stock and accurately recording relevant details.
- Storing and organising products while following stock rotation procedures.
- Using production machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
- Completing regular quality checks to maintain required standards.
- Packing finished products according to operational requirements.
- Labelling, preparing, and moving pallets ready for storage or dispatch.
- Keeping production, stock, and traceability documentation up to date.
- Adhering to all health, safety, hygiene, and PPE requirements.
- Assisting with other production and warehouse duties when required.
