We are currently recruiting Assembly Operatives, Production Operatives, Manufacturing Operatives, and Factory Workers for a well-established manufacturer in Belper, Derbyshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking immediate start jobs in Derbyshire, ongoing work, weekly pay, and long-term career prospects within a growing manufacturing environment.
Whether you have previous experience in assembly, production, manufacturing, machine operation, warehouse, or factory work, or you're looking to start a career in manufacturing, full training is provided.
Immediate starts available with inductions held every Tuesday and Thursday.
Pay Rates & Progression
Day Shift
- Starting rate: £14.05 per hour
- Progressing up to: £17.75 per hour
Afternoon Shift
- Starting rate: £16.02 per hour
- Progressing up to: £19.72 per hour
Night Shift
- Starting rate: £17.05 per hour
- Progressing up to: £20.75 per hour

Shift Patterns
Day Shift
- Monday - Thursday: 06:00 - 14:30
- Friday: 06:00 - 12:00
Afternoon Shift
- Monday - Thursday: 14:30 - 23:00
- Friday: 12:00 - 18:00
Night Shift
- Sunday: 20:30 - 06:00
- Monday - Thursday: 23:00 - 06:00
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical and manual assembly of components and finished products
- Working from manufacturing instructions and production specifications
- Quality checking and visual inspection of products
- Safe use of hand tools and assembly equipment
- Packing and preparing products for dispatch
- Meeting production targets and quality standards
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Working effectively within a fast-paced production team
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in any of the following is beneficial:
- Assembly Operative
- Production Operative
- Manufacturing Operative
- Factory Operative
- Machine Operator
- Warehouse Operative
- Production Line Worker
However, full training will be provided for motivated candidates with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
