7.5 Tonne Driver - Middleton
Temp to Perm Opportunity
Blue Arrow is currently recruiting experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers for a well-established client based in Middleton.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for a long-term role with the potential to secure a permanent position.
The Role
As a 7.5T Driver, you will be responsible for completing collections and deliveries across the local and regional area. This is a physically demanding role where manual handling is involved.
Duties include:
- Completing collections and deliveries efficiently and safely
- Assisting with loading and unloading parcels at both depot and customer locations
- Heavy manual handling throughout the working day
- Using handheld devices and company software to update delivery statuses
- Communicating regularly with the depot regarding deliveries and collections
- Providing excellent customer service at all delivery points
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- 08:30 AM start time
Pay Rates
- £16.05 per hour
- Overtime paid at £23.43 per hour after 40 hours worked
Requirements
- Valid 7.5T (C1) Licence
- Valid CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous delivery and collection experience preferred
- Good geographical knowledge and customer service skills
- Ability to carry out heavy manual handling duties
