General Operative - Fire Door Manufacturing & Installation

Purpose:

Assist in the manufacture and installation of fire doors, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.

Key Duties:

• Support production and assembly of fire doors
• Assist with on-site installation, repairs, and maintenance
• Use tools and machinery safely
• Carry out manual handling, loading, and unloading
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow company procedures and fire safety regulations

Health & Safety:

• Comply with all H&S requirements and site rules
• Wear required PPE at all times

7-Point PPE:

• Hard hat
• Hi-vis clothing
• Safety boots
• Gloves
• Eye protection
• Hearing protection
• Respiratory protection

Requirements:

• Good teamwork and reliability
• Willingness to learn
• Construction/joinery experience (desirable)
• CSCS card (preferred)

DBS Requirement:

• DBS check required
