Commis Chef - 4★ Hotel

⏰ 5 days out of 7 | Straight shifts (start between 12pm-2pm, finish around 10pm when room service ends)

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Commis Chef to join the kitchen team at a well-established 4-star hotel in Bridgwater.

This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone passionate about food who is looking to begin or develop their career within a professional kitchen. You'll gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced chefs, and benefit from excellent opportunities for progression.

The Role

• Assist chefs with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
• Learn and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
• Support different kitchen sections during prep and service
• Ensure the kitchen remains clean, organised, and compliant with food hygiene regulations
• Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and storage procedures
• Work as part of the team to ensure smooth and efficient service

• A hardworking, reliable, and positive attitude
• Ability to work well within a team in a busy environment
• Basic kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential
• Good attention to detail and eagerness to develop new skills
