Salary: £31,087.26
Hours: 45 Hours per Week | 5 Days out of 7 | 6:00am Starts
Blue Arrow are recruiting for a talented Breakfast Chef to join the kitchen at a prestigious hospitality venue in Staffordshire. This is a great opportunity for a chef who enjoys early shifts and takes pride in delivering high-quality breakfast service in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
Working closely with the Head and Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in ensuring guests start their day with an exceptional dining experience.
The Role
As Breakfast Chef, you will take responsibility for preparing and delivering both buffet and à la carte breakfast dishes to a consistently high standard, while supporting the smooth running of the kitchen.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and presenting breakfast dishes to a high standard
- Ensuring quality, taste and presentation meet expectations
- Working efficiently during busy breakfast service
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety at all times
- Assisting with stock control, storage and food rotation
- Supporting kitchen organisation, cleaning schedules and compliance
- Contributing ideas for menu development and seasonal dishes
- Working closely with front-of-house teams to ensure a smooth service
About You
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic chef with experience in a quality-led kitchen.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or hospitality setting
- Passion for food, particularly breakfast service and presentation
- Experience working in high-volume environments
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Level 2 Food Safety certificate (or higher)
- Ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
Desirable:
- NVQ or equivalent in Professional Cookery
- Experience within luxury hotels or spa environments
- Knowledge of modern breakfast trends and dietary requirements
