Chef de Partie - Permanent

Location: Staffordshire countryside (own transport required)

Salary: £32,361.84 per annum

Hours: Full-time, 45 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7, including weekends

Typical Shifts: 08:00 - 17:30 and 13:30 - 23:00

Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a permanent Chef de Partie on behalf of a prestigious hospitality client based in a stunning rural location.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef to take ownership of a kitchen section and be part of a high-performing team delivering exceptional dining experiences.


The Role

As Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, managing your own section and ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene are maintained at all times.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily operation of the kitchen
  • Manage your own section and ensure service standards are consistently met
  • Support with ordering and maintaining appropriate stock levels
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to a high standard
  • Follow and enforce food hygiene and health & safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen using cleaning schedules
  • Delegate tasks effectively within the kitchen team
  • Support training, supervising and motivating junior team members
  • Work collaboratively to maintain a positive and professional kitchen environment

About You

Essential:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role
  • Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene and quality standards
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent knowledge of health & safety procedures

Desirable:

  • Experience catering for high-volume service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Additional food safety or culinary training

Additional Information

  • 45 hours per week
  • 5 days out of 7, including weekends
  • Flexible approach required to meet business needs
  • Due to location, own transport is essential
  • Must have right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
