As a Warehouse Team Leader you could earn between £16,369 - £27,049 per year if you were working full time which is a nice healthy step up from the general Warehouse Operatives rate of £7.82 - £9.97 per hour.

As part of your team Leader role, you would be responsible for managing a team of multi-skilled staff on the warehouse floor to ensure the workload stays on track, that orders are fulfilled and that everyone is working to efficient, proactive systems. You would also be overseeing the general warehouse environment, making sure it is safe and productive during your shift.

1. Spend time working in a role such as Warehouse Operative or Forklift Driver so you gain invaluable working knowledge of the systems and procedures that are in place. 2. Work every day as though you are being assessed for a promotion – you never know when you managers are taking notice so always be ready to impress.
