Blue Arrow are recruiting for experienced DBS chefs to join our team in Birmingham! Working as a chef your main duties will include:<ul><li>Overseeing overall management of catering operations</li><li>Leading a small kitchen team in delivering a timely service</li><li>Being aware of allergen and dietary needs</li><li>Stock ordering</li><li>Stock takes</li><li>Accurate recording of daily and weekly paperwork including temperature checks</li><li>Ensuring high standards of kitchen and food hygiene are maintained at all times.</li><li>Knowledge of the IDDSI framework.</li></ul>Skills Required:<ul><li>Knife skills</li><li>Knowledge of stock takes and ordering</li><li>Rota management</li><li>Working within a budget</li><li>Management experience</li></ul>Qualifications Needed:<ul><li>Food hygiene level 2 or 3</li><li>Allergens</li><li>Knowledge of IDDSI</li><li>Able to pass an enhanced DBS check or already hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or dated within last 12 months.</li><li>Previous experience in a management role</li></ul> Click APPLY to submit your applicationBlue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
