Birmingham DBS Chefs

Blue Arrow are recruiting for experienced DBS chefs to join our team in Birmingham!

Working as a chef your main duties will include:

• Overseeing overall management of catering operations
• Leading a small kitchen team in delivering a timely service
• Being aware of allergen and dietary needs
• Stock ordering
• Stock takes
• Accurate recording of daily and weekly paperwork including temperature checks
• Ensuring high standards of kitchen and food hygiene are maintained at all times.
• Knowledge of the IDDSI framework.

Skills Required:

• Knife skills
• Knowledge of stock takes and ordering
• Rota management
• Working within a budget
• Management experience

Qualifications Needed:

• Food hygiene level 2 or 3
• Allergens
• Knowledge of IDDSI
• Able to pass an enhanced DBS check or already hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or dated within last 12 months.
• Previous experience in a management role
