Location: Middlesbrough and surrounding areas

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-14:00

Pay rate ;£16.00 per hour

Temporary Term-time only (school calendar)

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and reliable School Chef to join our catering team in a vibrant Middlesbrough school. You'll be responsible for preparing nutritious, balanced meals for pupils and staff, ensuring high standards of food safety and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and cook daily school meals to meet dietary and nutritional standards

* Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment

* Manage stock and food orders efficiently

* Work collaboratively with kitchen assistants and school staff

* Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a school or contract catering environment

* Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 3 desirable)

* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)

* Strong organisational skills and a positive attitude
