Chefs of All Levels Required

Blue Arrow are currently recruiting chefs of all levels to support a variety of temporary and ongoing contracts across Durham and Middlesbrough.

We work with a wide range of clients, including:

• Care homes
• Schools and education settings
• Contract catering
• Hotels
• Restaurants
• Leisure clubs and event venues

Pay Rates

£15.00 - £22.00 per hour, depending on chef level, experience, and client requirements.

Chef Duties and Responsibilities

Daily duties may include:

• Preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals to a high standard
• Working from set menus and accommodating dietary and allergen requirements
• Maintaining high levels of food hygiene and health and safety compliance
• Stock control, portion control, and waste management
• Supporting kitchen teams and working independently when required
• Ensuring kitchens are kept clean, organised, and audit-ready

What We're Looking For

• Chefs of all levels (including Catering Chefs, CDP, Sous Chef, and Head Chef)
• Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Flexible, reliable, and professional approach to work
• Ability to adapt to different kitchen environments
