Site Officer - Immediate Start | Ongoing Multiple school sites, Buckinghamshire (Wycombe)Ongoing temporary opportunityFull-time - 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) We are currently recruiting for a hands-on Site Officer to join a busy and supportive school trust. This is an immediate start, ongoing temporary position - perfect for someone reliable, practical, and proud of keeping environments safe, clean, and running smoothly.<h3> </h3><h3>The Role</h3>You'll play a key role in maintaining school buildings and grounds, ensuring a safe, secure, and well-presented environment for students and staff.Your day will include:<ul><li>General maintenance, caretaking and reactive repairs</li><li>Opening/closing sites and managing site security &amp; alarms</li><li>Basic plumbing, carpentry, painting &amp; decorating tasks</li><li>Grounds maintenance (grass cutting, hedge trimming, clearing pathways)</li><li>Supporting deliveries and moving furniture</li><li>Responding to urgent issues and occasional out-of-hours emergencies</li><li>Travelling between sites to support where needed</li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><ul><li>Previous experience in a caretaker / maintenance / handyman role</li><li>Practical skills across basic trades (plumbing, carpentry, decorating)</li><li>Good understanding of health &amp; safety procedures</li><li>Able to work independently and prioritise workload</li><li>Strong communication and reliability</li></ul>Full UK driving licence &amp; access to a vehicle -essentialEnhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) - essential <h3>Bonus Experience (Desirable)</h3><ul><li>Experience working within a school or education setting</li><li>Formal trade qualifications (plumbing, electrical, carpentry)</li></ul><h3>Why Apply?</h3><ul><li>Immediate start available</li><li>Long-term, ongoing work</li><li>Varied and active role - no two days the same</li><li>Opportunity to make a real difference within a school community</li></ul><h3>Safeguarding</h3>This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
