We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to work within a busy school kitchen in Allington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking work during school hours, with weekends and school holidays off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation of food and meals for pupils
• Serving food and supporting during busy lunch periods
• Cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Washing up and maintaining high standards of hygiene
• Following food safety and health & safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is beneficial
• A valid DBS check is required (or willingness to obtain one)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
