We are currently recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to work in a school-based kitchen in Bearsted, supporting the preparation and service of meals for students and staff during term time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
• Serving meals to pupils and staff
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
• Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment preferred
• A positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to safeguarding children
