The Role
As a Kitchen Assistant working with Blue Arrow, you will support experienced chefs and kitchen teams to ensure service runs smoothly. You may be working across a variety of environments including schools, care homes, staff canteens, restaurants and event venues.
Your responsibilities may include food preparation, pot washing, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, and assisting the wider team during busy service periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation
- Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Supporting kitchen teams during service
- Following food safety and health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous kitchen or catering experience is helpful but not essential
- A reliable and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork skills
- Flexibility to take on shifts when available
