🕒 Monday to Friday - Term Time Only

⏰ Shifts available: 10:00am-2:00pm or 10:30am-2:30pm

💷 Pay: £12.71 per hour

We're recruiting School Catering Assistants to work in primary and secondary school kitchens across Mansfield and the surrounding areas. Perfect for parents, carers, or anyone looking for part-time work during school hours.

No previous catering experience? That's absolutely fine. If you're reliable, organised, and happy to help where needed, we'd love to hear from you.

To work in schools, you'll need an Enhanced Child DBS. If you don't already have one, we can support you through the application process.

🧾 Your role will include:

• Assisting with food and drink preparation
• Serving meals to students and staff
• Operating tills during service
• Clearing and cleaning dining areas
• Putting away deliveries
• Maintaining high hygiene standards
• Washing up and general kitchen duties
• Providing friendly and helpful customer service

✅ What we're looking for:

• Level 1 Food Hygiene Certificate (dated within the last 12 months)
• Willingness to help with cleaning and different kitchen tasks
• Good time management and organisation skills
• Able to work well in a team and use initiative
• Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
• Previous catering experience is helpful but not essential
