<div><h2>Premises Officer - Loughgall</h2>Location: Loughgall Hours: Monday to Friday Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour Contract: Temporary, ongoing<h3>Overview</h3>We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Premises Officer based in Loughgall. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a busy site. The successful candidate will play a key role in facilities management, administration, and health &amp; safety operations.<hr /><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide front-of-house support, including reception duties and operating the switchboard</li><li>Handle incoming calls, queries, deliveries, post, and courier services</li><li>Support site security, including managing access and the security barrier</li><li>Assist the Fire Officer in the event of a fire or emergency situation</li><li>Issue permits to work and brief contractors on site procedures (including asbestos register awareness)</li><li>Direct contractors using site maps and manage key control and permit filing</li><li>Carry out Fire Warden duties, including:<ul><li>Weekly and monthly fire checks</li><li>Fire alarm testing across multiple buildings</li><li>Maintaining accurate fire safety records</li></ul></li><li>Monitor oil tank levels and arrange deliveries as required</li><li>Complete and submit monthly oil usage returns</li><li>Manage vehicle administration, including:<ul><li>Booking MOTs and ensuring compliance (tax/insurance)</li><li>Coordinating repairs for pooled vehicles</li><li>Maintaining vehicle booking systems and calendars</li></ul></li><li>Provide reprographics support (photocopying, documentation)</li><li>Order and manage stationery and protective clothing (PPE)</li><li>Process PPE requests and track distribution</li><li>Report building defects via the AMPS system</li><li>Conduct weekly defibrillator checks</li><li>Support seasonal activities such as:<ul><li>Snow and salt clearance coordination</li><li>Road closure signage arrangements</li></ul></li><li>Input industrial wages and respond to wage queries</li><li>Carry out general administrative and ad hoc duties as required</li></ul><hr /><h3>Essential Criteria</h3><ul><li>Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths (Grade C or above)</li><li>Strong organisational and multitasking skills</li><li>Facilities or premises experience </li><li>Good communication and customer service abilities</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Competent in using Microsoft Office and administrative systems</li></ul></div>
