Sous Chef - Contract Catering - No late nights! - Plymouth

Our client is a global player in the contract catering industry that supply catering and facility services to various sites throughout the UK.

They are currently recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef for their site in Plymouth. This Company offers excellent benefits and opportunities to progress.

Key info:

Salary: £15.16 per hour plus paid over time!!

Location: Plymouth

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, shifts are either breakfast and lunch or lunch and early tea. You do 8 hours per day so either 630-1430 or 1230-2030 or slight variations of those hours.

Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Sous Chef will Include:

To ensure food preparation and control meets requirements in respect to the set standards

To support manager in maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within a budget

To be responsible for maintaining up to date product and menu knowledge

To maintain a high standard of food preparation and presentation.

Ensuring portion and quality control

To comply with health and safety and food safety legislations

What You Need To Be a Successful Sous Chef:

Previous Experience as a Sous Chef

NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications are required

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
